The IONIQ 9 is a new addition to the Hyundai lineup in 2026. This all-electric model offers three rows of seating, standout styling, and the most up-to-date features. It is available in six distinctive trim levels: S, SE, SEL, Performance Limited, Performance Calligraphy, and Performance Calligraphy Design.

The 2026 IONIQ 6 has several powertrain options. The entry-level trim has a single motor with rear-wheel drive. It generates 215 horsepower and has a 335-mile range. A dual-motor system with all-wheel drive is offered, and it generates 303 horsepower. This system has a 320-mile range. The upper trim levels also have a dual-motor system with all-wheel drive. This more advanced system delivers 422 horsepower and has a 311-mile range. The IONIQ 9's battery can reach an 80% charge in only 24 minutes using a fast charger.

Inside, the IONIQ 9 has a modern cabin design with ample passenger space across all three rows. Select trims have second-row captain's chairs with a reclining function and footrests. Other features are a center console that opens in two directions, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch multimedia display screen, a lane departure warning, a blind-spot monitor, a back-up camera, a UV sterilizing tray, a Bose sound system with 14 speakers, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a glass roof, a keyless ignition, adaptive cruise control, wireless charging, a route planner, a voice recognition system and several additional features.

The IONIQ 9 has a distinctly modern style with smoothly angled surfaces over the roof and hood. The side windows are raked while the liftgate stands tall.
